Brer Rabbit is throwing a "Fun Day" party when his guests want refreshments. Quickly, Brer Rabbit sets off to find some. He consults with Judge Owl, who suggests ice cream. Brers Fox and Bear overhear this and plan to take it from him. Along hops Brer Rabbit, who is ensnared by their trap. They take the bag he's carrying, which turns out to contain a bees' nest. Off he hops to the village store, when he realizes he dropped his money back at the trap. Meanwhile, Brers Fox and Bear find his money. Brer Rabbit dots his face with red berry juice to scare them off with his fake mumps. He arrives back at the party and everyone is happy!
