 Description 

In 1977 & 1978 the Georgia Jaycees featured an assortment of Disney characters from the movie Song of the South for their National Convention Trading Pins. There were a limited number made and they were not available for sale to the public.

1. Mama Bear, produced for the Georgia Jaycettes.
2. Brer Fox and Brer Rabbit.
3. Brer Bear.
4. Kubs and Klibs, produced for the Georgia Jaycees Kids.
5. State Outline, with Uncle Remus and Brer Bear.
6. The Tar Baby.
7. Brer Fox, Bear, and Rabbit. Georgia Jaycees Delegate.
8. Uncle Remus with Mr. Bluebird.

 Variations 

Pins 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 were produced in several variations:

On pin 2, the base was produced in three colors: green (1977), red and blue (1978). Green example shown above.

On pin 3, the base was produced in 1978 in three colors: green, red, and blue. Green example shown above.

On pin 5, the Jaycees logo was produced in four colors: green, red, blue, and yellow. Dates unknown; green example shown above.

On pin 6, the Tar Baby's coat was produced in three colors: blue (1977), red and green (1978). Blue example shown above.

On pin 7, the base was produced in three colors: green, red, and blue. Dates unknown; green example shown above.
