 Description 

Complete set of 8 front-of-house cards used in British theater houses. Very much like American lobby cards but smaller.

 Scenes 

Br'er Rabbit gets into trouble when he tries to teach the silent tar baby a few manners; Br'er Fox and Br'er Bear mock 'last respects' when they think Br'er Rabbit is done for in the briar patch; "Whatever you do, don't throw me into the briar patch" Br'er Rabbit pleads with the gullible Br'er Fox; Br'er Fox and Br'er Bear frequently agree to disagree–this time over whose hat they shall use for the tar baby; To the enchantment of his young listeners, Uncle Remus begins another story of Br'er Rabit's adventures; In anticipation of succulent rabbit stew, Br'er Fox prepares his cooking implements?; Uncle Remus leads the way over the hill to the enchanted world of Br'er Rabbit's briar patch country.
