Hand-painted plastic small figurine of Brer Fox, called a Disneykin, highly popular in the early 1960's. Brer Fox was one of 36 different Disney characters produced in late 1961. These 36 characters make up what is known as the Second Series.

 Variations

To date there is one Brer Fox box type verified: The Blue Display Box (shown above). A second box type, the Green Candy Box, remains unconfirmed.

Brer Fox was also included in various Disneykin sets, including the Disneykin Play Set: "The Three Little Pigs"; and the Disneykins Gift Box set.

White/unpainted ("ghost") versions have also been verified. These were allegedly given away inside of food product packages, but this remains unconfirmed.

 Comments

Second Series Disneykins (or "New Disneykins") are slightly harder to find than the First Series.

I am looking to own this Disneykin. Wanted!
