Splash Mountain Music and Lyrics

If you pay close attention to the songs sung during the ride, you'll notice that some of the songs don't have the same lyrics as the songs featured in Song of the South. The songs for Splash Mountain were tailored specifically for the storyline of the ride.

Gathered here are the lyrics as they are sung in the ride:

Whether you're waiting in the queue or riding through Splash Mountain, one thing's for certain: music is always surrounding you! If you really miss the music from Song of the South, forget your Fast Pass! Wait out the line at peak time and read Uncle Remus' narrative on the wall while you listen to the following beautiful instrumentals:

Song of the South  (Johnston–Coslow)
Let The Rain Pour Down  (Carling–Darby)
All I Want  (Darby–Traditional)
Who Wants To Live Like That?  (Carling–Darby)
Sooner Or Later  (Gilbert–Wolcott)
How Do You Do?  (MacGimsey)
Everybody Has A Laughing Place  (Wrubel–Gilbert)
Uncle Remus Said  (Lange, Heath, Daniel)
Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah  (Wrubel–Gilbert)

If you're a real nut like me you can go into the 20th Century Music Shop on Main Street in Disneyland and create a custom "Wonderland Music Experience" CD with the above tracks for $15.99. My personal favorite song is Let The Rain Pour Down.

[Update: I've received reports that you can no longer create a custom CD with these tracks on it. I will investigate upon my next trip to Disneyland in August 2005.]
